Amy has been drawing for as long as she can remember; it was her favourite thing as a little girl and now, as a fully fledged adult, she reckons being an illustrator is the best job in the world!!
Amy works out of her quirky studio in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire and her happy collection of clients includes publishers like Capstone, Scholastic and Hodder & Stoughton.
She’s worked on a variety of projects, including branding, packaging and licensing to name a few. Despite her young age, Amy has quite a number of best-sellers to her name, including The Art of Being a Brilliant Teenager, PenguinPig and The Little book of Emotional Intelligence.
Amy will be delivering some illustration workshops for primary age children for SPLAT! at Tamworth Library.
At her workshops, Amy will be sharing with you a breath of her work along with lots of exciting products she gets to design/produce illustrations for. She’ll talk about how she thinks she has the best job in the world and how her dyslexia has never held her back from following her dreams.
Amy will then read one of her most well know books ‘Penguinpig’, teach you how to draw your very own Penguinpig and finally she MIGHT even give you a sneaky peek at her latest children’s book. You’ll then have chance to buy a signed copy of the Penguinpig and ask any questions.
